There are 20 new community cases of COVID-19 to report today, all in Auckland, taking our total number of cases associated with the current outbreak to 821. 新增 20 總數達到 821

Of these new cases, 15 are epidemiologically linked and 5 are unlinked. Five people were potentially infectious in the community.

There are now 40 cases in hospital, all in the Auckland area. Of these, 6 are in an intensive care or high dependency unit. 40個確診者在醫院治療,其中有6個重症患者.

There are 3 new cases identified at the border.

All of New Zealand, except Auckland, will move to Alert Level 2 at 11.59pm on Tuesday 7 September.

Auckland will stay at Alert Level 4 until 11.59pm on Tuesday 14 September.

Cabinet will review the levels for the whole country, including Auckland, on Monday 13 September.
